Helping Catholics Discover Their Place in the Story of Salvation
Deep Theology. Accessible Teaching.
Engaging talks, retreats, parish missions, and formation experiences that bring the richness of Scripture and theology into the lives of ordinary Catholics.
“Taylor has the ability to take a very complex theological topic and relate it in terms that others can understand and appreciate. He doesn’t just know our Catholic faith but practices it through his everyday living… it is someone like Taylor who shows us who the living Christ is today.””
Deacon Eric Summerfiled Diocese of Orange
Bringing the Story of Salvation to Life
The Catholic faith is extraordinarily rich, but it shouldn’t take a theology degree to see its beauty. Taylor brings together Scripture, theology, and the great story of salvation in a way ordinary Catholics can understand and connect to their own lives.
Whether speaking at a parish mission, conference, retreat, school, or formation event, his goal is the same: to help Catholics not only understand what the Church teaches, but see its beauty and discover how their own lives fit within the great story of salvation.

Through this event, you will discover how your whole life, like the story in the Bible, has led to your moment of communion with God.

About Taylor Engel
Taylor is a Catholic speaker, teacher, and Director of Parish Faith Formation who has spent more than a decade helping Catholics of all ages understand the richness of the Faith and discover what it means for their lives.
His service to the Church began in youth ministry, where he spent four years accompanying young people and families in parish life. He later served as a high school theology teacher, teaching the Catholic faith to students from a wide variety of religious backgrounds. Those years in the classroom taught him how to take the depth of Catholic theology and communicate it clearly, compellingly, and in a way that meets people where they are.
Today, Taylor serves as the Director of Parish Faith Formation at his home parish in Yorba Linda, CA, where he leads a team responsible for forming Catholics of all ages to live as missionary disciples of Jesus Christ.
Across the classroom, the parish, and the stage, Taylor’s passion remains the same: helping people encounter the beauty of the Catholic faith, understand the great story of salvation, and discover their own place within it.
